I bought this pot for my boyfriend and my anniversary. We love to cook and he was hinting around that he wanted a dutch oven, so I got this one. He is VERY particular with his things and loves nice things. Well, this was a hit! He loves it! It also makes delicious stews and other foods. With any cast iron item, it does take work to care for it, but it is a lot better to take the extra time to care for cast iron then it is to eat off all that non-stick stuff that can cause medical problems. I definitely recommend purchasing this item.
